Peace Arch Park Wedding | Surrey

It’s not everyday that you meet two ridiculously talented artists who happen to be getting married to each other. I knew Lisa was a super skilled hair artist, but I had no idea the extent of this girl’s ability. This Peace Arch Park wedding was stunning and amazing.

Collectively, the two of them planned and executed every decor piece of their wedding, including the florals, and ceremony pieces. Seriously, they created insane details I have never seen before. Lisa even made a custom hair piece from both of their grandmother’s jewelry. Lisa put together all of the florals, including her own bridal bouquet.

Initially, Lisa and MJ planned to read their vows to each other (my favourite!) at their first look. MJ happened to forget his written vows at home, so he went completely off the cuff, but it didn’t matter at all. Their vows were beautiful and heartfelt and amazing.

The Peace Arch Park wedding reception was lit entirely by candlelight and had little personal touches all over the place. A custom neon sign lit up the head table. Lisa singlehandedly baked all of the cupcakes herself. It’s unbelievable that she didn’t hire a stylist for this reception. It was so stunning.

This Peace Arch Park wedding had everything I love: crying parents, cute little grandmas, candle light, and a hand-painted pug and donut portrait.
